Refreshing Peach Sorbet
Peach sorbet is a delicious and refreshing summer dessert. In case you haven't had sorbet before, it is basically a frozen dessert made from fruit puree and sugar. It is perfect for a warm summer evening.
A few years ago, we received an electric ice cream maker as a gift. It has been so much fun to use the ice cream maker to make different ice creams and sorbets. When we found ourselves with an abundance of peaches this year, we just knew we were going to use some of those peaches to make peach sorbet. The great thing about sorbet, though, is you don't need an ice cream maker to make it. You can simply blend the ingredients and freeze it!

Recipe Notes:
As stated above, you don't NEED an ice cream maker to make sorbet. However, it does speed up the freezing process and makes it a bit easier. We were gifted a Whynter Ice Cream Maker, and we love it. It has been fun to use and the instructions are easy to follow.
These freezer storage tubs have been perfect for storing homemade ice cream and sorbet!
This ice cream scooper uses the heat from your hand to make scooping ice cream (or sorbet) even easier!
